Information on Triumeq in this article also applies to Triumeq PD unless otherwise noted. Note: Triumeq and Triumeq PD are very similar drugs. Triumeq and Triumeq PD are usually taken once per day. Triumeq PD comes as a tablet that you mix with water to form an oral suspension. (The viral load is the level of HIV in your blood.) Together, these three drugs work to decrease the viral load of HIV in your body, which eases the effects of the virus. Dolutegravir is in a class of medications called integrase inhibitors. Triumeq and Triumeq PD are made up of three different drugs: abacavir, dolutegravir, and lamivudine.*Ībacavir and lamivudine are both in a class of drugs called nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs).
